26 Months! Happy Summer Vacation!!

Happy Summer, Everyone!

This past month has been so enjoyable thanks to a bunch of amazing weather and lots of fun activities! Gabrielle got to have a new babysitter for a whole week because Grandma and Grandpa Sexton are on a European river boat cruise down the Danube from Amsterdam all the way to Budapest!! Jealous? I AM!! So, my good friend's daughter, Megan Purdy, came over everyday for a week to babysit Gabrielle. She took excellent care of our little girlfriend and they had a MEGATON of fun! Yahoo! Grandpoppy Sulkowski is babysitting on Monday & Tuesday, June 14th & 15th, and then mommy will be home for the summer! Double YAHOO!

Gabrielle has been a little sweetie this month. She has some funny little antics that make me smile. For example, she compares doubles of everything in terms of "mommy and baby." A full crayon is a mommy crayon, and a crayon broken in half is a baby crayon. If there are three to compare, then a poppy gets added to the comparison. She does this with Jammie and Grandpop's windchimes, food items, toys, and today she compared large construction trucks, as "mommy one and baby one" even though they both were gargantuan!!

Gabrielle is temporarily banned from her crayons. She really likes to make murals on the wall, and that is just not acceptable. Luckily, Magic Eraser was invented because not all crayons are washable! I wish it were as easy to get crayon off the couch. Another fantastic invention are the "Color Wonder" markers by Crayola. That's all she can play with at the current moment!

Speaking of fun inventions, Gabrielle recently was playing with her Crayola 3-D Sidewalk Chalk. I was a huge skeptic...How in the heck can sidewalk chalk look 3-D?? Well, ladies and gentlemen, it does, and I have more fun with the sidewalk chalk than Gabrielle does! It is seriously cool, and I would recommend that you buy it! All three of us have a grand old time playing with all sorts of sidewalk chalk.

Enjoy the moment!

We'll have to check out that 3-D chalk :) Maggie's 'friends' in her dollhouse are the color wonder markers. She never colors with them, but they all have names and things they're supposed to do in the dollhouse.
These darlings sure do keep things interesting, eh?
